When Churches Turn People Away from Jesus

Over the past seven days, God has been shining a very bright light on this subject for me.

I’m still unraveling it, but this is what I feel called to share right now.

The point is simple:

Jesus loved.

Somewhere along the way, the adversary began using churches as tools of hate and darkness.

Not all churches.

But if your pastor, priest, teacher, or church leader preaches fire and brimstone, condemnation, shame, or guilt—or claims that any human being is not a child of God—that is not of God.

The adversary has successfully used churches to turn people away from Jesus Christ.

Think about that.

An institution claiming to represent Jesus can become the very thing that keeps people from knowing Him.

That should break our hearts.

Following Yeshua is not about belonging to a building or submitting to a religious institution. Yeshua said:

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

—Matthew 18:20

You do not need a church building to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

You need Yeshua.

If this speaks to you, I’m happy to talk more.

I’m not currently part of a church, although I used to be. But my life has been completely changed by the grace of Elohim through Jesus Christ.

I’m not claiming to have everything figured out.

I’m simply another child of God who has experienced His grace, and I’m willing to share my story if it might help someone else find their way back to Yeshua.

Amen and Aho.
